Pitching for Success

At Venturefest Oxford 2018, twenty companies pitched to an audience that included investors, support organisations and individuals. Each session included a panel made up of professional funding organisations. The panel voted for five finalists, who pitched again at the final session. The five finalists were: Glyconics, Learning with Experts, Oxford Dynamic Consent, OxyClot and OneCup. The winner of the £1,000 cash prize, as voted for by the audience was OneCup.
Support Package Prizes
Prodrive Ventures will be supporting Clipr Technologies. Prodrive Ventures will provide12 month of business mentoring support to include regular sessions on product roadmap, commercial strategy, route to market including introduction to key supporting partners as relevant.
Oxford Innovation will be supporting Oxford Digital Healthcare. Oxford Innovation Centres are offering the use of a professional virtual office service (telephone answering and postal mailing address) for 12 months at one of its 24 Innovation Centres.
Richardsons will be supporting Oxford Dynamic Consent. Richardsons will provide payroll service to March 2018 for up to five employees.
KPMG will be supporting Learning with Experts. KPMG will provided a half day ‘finance workshop’ on a mutually agreed basis to be delivered within 12 months.
OION will also be supporting Oxford Dynamic Consent. The best potential investment will have the opportunity to pitch at an OION Ltd Showcase event with 6 months of Venturefest.
