Kegang advises on business partnerships and business deals between China and Britain for the last two decades.
He focuses on market entry strategy, trade & investment promotion, and business negotiator with a proven track record for both public and private sector clients.
His current projects include the promotion of trade & investment of Guangdong Province and its cities with the UK (Guangdong Economic and Trade Office in the UK), the BCC LinkToChina (market consultancy and a partnership support service). He is also engaged in helping Chinese companies and investors in the UK market.
He led on a number of China initiatives for Liverpool – Shanghai sister-cities, Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, British Chamber of Commerce and Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce.
He has travelled over 80 times to China and given advice to hundreds of British companies and several English regions & cites in China market since 1999.
Kegang holds several advisory and non-executive positions in China and UK. He has been a non-exec director of the Enterprise Forum. Kegang was a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the UK Parliament election in 2010.
Kegang obtained his PhD in Geography from King’s College London. He had taught in South China Normal University in Guangdong and the University of Liverpool in England. A native speaker of Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and Teochew (Chaozhou), he is also a fully qualified interpreter (DPSI) and translator (DipTran) certified by the Institute of Linguists.
