Phil is the Managing Director of Oxford Bus Company and their sister companies Thames Travel, Carousel Buses and City Sightseeing Oxford – all subsidiaries of Go- Ahead Group PLC.

Phil has worked in the transport industry for 20 years across a variety of operational, commercial and service delivery roles in Staffordshire, Lancashire and the North East of England, in addition to his current role in Oxfordshire where he has been since 2012.

His leadership has seen Oxford Bus Company achieve 96% customer satisfaction for the iconic Park and Ride service, as well as putting the company at the centre of many eco-friendly initiatives such as flywheel systems for buses and solar PV on the Cowley Depot roof.

Phil believes the level of innovation taking place in Oxfordshire presents exciting opportunities for public transport solutions, so the Oxford Bus Company can continue to play its part in supporting the growth of Oxfordshire in the coming years.
