Joanna Hart
Harwell Space Cluster Development Manager, UKRI - Harwell Campus

Dr Joanna Hart joined UKRI-STFC in November 2017 as the Harwell Space Cluster Development Manager, working to develop the Harwell Space Cluster by helping the 80 space organisations at Harwell Campus to grow and attracting new companies to set up operations at Harwell Campus.

Previously, Joanna was Head of Evaluation and Impact at the Satellite Applications Catapult, tracking key performance indicators and understanding the economic impact that Catapult is having on UK space companies, in terms of jobs and revenue growth. Joanna has nine years of experience in equity research at investment banks UBS and Credit Suisse. This involved advising global fund managers to buy and sell shares in European telecoms companies. Joanna holds a DPhil in Particle Physics from the University of Oxford, which involved working on the Central Tracking Detector (now a museum piece at the entrance to her office building).
