STEMM Commercial is based in Oxford and was created to support and inspire innovators in science, technology and engineering to become more commercially astute.

The company offers a suite of interactive and tailored business skills training for innovative and ambitious spin-outs and SMEs, delivered by business experts who offer a wealth of relevant stories and insight to share with participants.

STEMM Commercial has successfully worked with international clients from a wide variety of cultures, from early stage researchers right through to senior executives in large corporations.  Training is delivered in-house, 1-2-1 or via open workshops, by experts who work with similar clients.

STEMM is proud to have developed a core suite of courses which are approved by The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and to be working in partnership with Begbroke Science Park for the Innovation Support Business (ISfB) programme.

Sarah McCloughry

Co-founder, STEMM Commercial

An experienced professional coaching leaders wanting to develop their strategic and influencing strengths and training leaders and teams keen to develop their commercial reputation via pitching, presenting, networking and leadership management. An experienced coach and trainer in the commercial world with corporates such as Skanska to SMEs as well as with government departments such as the Crown Commercial Service, Oxford University and not-for-profit NGOs.
