Oxfordshire Greentech is a business network supporting the growth of the low-carbon sector in Oxfordshire. We will bring together businesses and organisations to encourage innovation, collaboration and knowledge transfer, to facilitate the transition towards a sustainable, low carbon future in Oxfordshire and the world.
Oxfordshire Greentech is part of the OxFutures programme, which is a £3.2m project to boost low carbon economic development in Oxfordshire. It is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and run through a collaborative partnership between the Low Carbon Hub, Cherwell District Council, Bioregional, Oxford City Council, the University of Oxford, and Oxford Brookes University.
What is your innovation?
More and more businesses are committing to sustainability and to cleaner and greener business models and supply chains. Opportunities for business growth through sustainable innovation are also increasing and the demand for a business forum to share ‘greentech’ ideas and business opportunities is clear.
Our goal is to make Oxfordshire Greentech a nodal centre for innovation in the low carbon sector, through:
• Creating a platform for research and innovation: We believe that by bringing people and organisations together, we can enable collaborative funding bids and practical problem solving
• Facilitating networking and collaborations: We provide an exciting forum for networking with other key players and organisations in the low-carbon sector in Oxfordshire, through peer-to-peer introductions, workshops and events.
• Inspire and showcase – Using the One Planet Living framework, we can help organisations develop their own strategies and action plans towards reducing their environmental impact
• Increase the visibility of the low carbon sector in Oxfordshire – We represent the low carbon sector across Oxfordshire and work hard to celebrate and show its impact and strength
