Meet the experts
After graduating in Mathematics Mike embarked upon a career in software development. Initially working on avionics systems and then on further software development projects in variety of industries. He progressed to head a small software development company specialising in bespoke data collection and analysis systems in pharmaceutical research, and later developing its own clinical trials products selling into global Pharmaceuticals and CROs. During this time his principal focus was in sales and marketing. After spending time working for a global CRO, primarily in pre-sales consultancy role he joined Oxford Computer Consultants in software product sales and consultancy. In his current business development role, he promotes OCC’s custom software group, which specialises in providing design and development services across a spread of industries, but with expertise working with researchers, innovators and spinouts. He also spends part of his time managing a cloud-based social care application.
Recently appointed as OCC’s Managing Director, Nick is leading the 100+ person company through its next phase of evolution. After graduating in computer science, Nick joined OCC in 2001, where he played a central role in developing and managing SPOCC, OCC’s best of breed Supporting People contracts software. Following his appointment as Local Government Products Director, Nick headed the development of OCC’s highly acclaimed social care finance software, ContrOCC, and the formation of the consultancy, implementation and support services essential for the product’s success. As Managing Director, Nick continues to head OCC’s local government products and services team, while also working closely with the custom software group and developing sales and marketing to further fulfil OCC’s mission to create original, robust and flexible digital solutions to the benefit of their clients.
Director of Innovation Delivery
Reynold joined OCC as a C++ software engineer specialising in engineering applications in 1997. Since joining the company Reynold performed project management, programme management, key account management and is now Director of Innovation Delivery. The Innovation Delivery group design and develop custom software across a broad range of industries but with specialities in research, health and engineering.
