Oxford Brookes University
Partner

Great minds don’t think alike.  In fact, it’s the diversity of thought, excellence of research, and variety of talents within Oxford Brookes University that make it an innovative and progressive partner for business.

As we enter autumn 2021 the Oxford Brookes Business School, recently accredited with the Small Business Charter, is offering a range of business support initiatives for SME’s including the government backed Help to Grow Programme for senior leaders to build their expertise.

The Oxford Brookes Enterprise Centre is set to launch in early 2022 with the support of Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) and will focus on start-ups and early stage companies in health and life sciences, digital technologies and related sectors.  The Centre comprises Scalebase, which offers office space, co-working and meeting areas, and a multi-purpose enterprise space, and the Bio-Innovation Hub which offers shared use of well-equipped CL2 labs and access to specialist equipment and support. The Centre will provide facilities for around 25 companies.

Oxford Brookes is rich in industry-relevant expertise and research knowledge, with a successful track record of collaboration with the commercial sector, and impressive intellectual property earnings. The University has a track record in supporting industry partners to secure funding for collaborative projects, through schemes such as Knowledge Transfer Partnerships.

Our courses for students and for professional development are designed to meet the needs of business, many of them accredited by the industries they serve. Bioscience, computing, engineering, architecture, and construction, are among the many subject areas that earn Oxford Brookes an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research.

We work as an enthusiastic partner with the business community, research institutions, regional business organisations, local authorities, and a cross section of local support services and investors, to make a difference to our partners and communities, and to lead innovation and technical advancement for economic growth and social good.
