The purpose of the Bioinnovation Hub is to support growth of early stage biotech companies, to foster collaboration between industry and academia, and to contribute to the development of the next-generation of life sciences industry employees through work experience placements, projects or internships at resident companies.
The Oxford Brookes University Bioinnovation Hub offers CL2 lab and bench spaces for rent to start up biotech companies, with office, co-working & meeting space available next door in the new ScaleBase enterprise centre. Residency at the BiH provides access to a range of equipment and facilities that are core to the activities of many biotechs, plus core consumables and technical support.
The Bioinnovation Hub is based in the Tonge building on Oxford Brookes University’s Headington campus, conveniently located close to the Old Road research area, the JR hospital site and only a short distance from Oxford city centre.
