Geocento was established at the end of 2011 and has offices in Harwell, Oxfordshire and Villafranca del Castillo, Spain. The Company is playing a leading role in developing access to the rapidly growing constellations of imaging platforms that are encircling our planet from air and space, through the combination of innovative web technologies and broad supplier networks. Geocento’s primary focus is in exploiting this capability in support of enterprise asset management, enabling organisations to monitor or quickly assess their often remote physical assets, whether in the form of natural or managed assets such as forests, or human assets such as pipelines and commercial property. The multi-billion dollar market for these services is growing rapidly at 11% CAGR, driven by regulations and operational pressures to protect and optimise the efficiency, safety and longevity of valuable assets.

The company is planning for the next stage of its growth through the further development of its market-leading technology, EarthImages; expansion of its networks to include airborne image suppliers, and the recruitment of key personnel to support its growing sales pipeline. In particular, through the development of fully scalable API services, the company plans to enable imagery to be fully integrated within third party platforms including Enterprise Asset Management systems.
